Michael Kalichman

Michael Kalichman, trained in engineering and neuropharmacology, has taught research ethics since 1990. He was founding director of the UC San Diego Research Ethics Program (1997-2021) and co-founding director for the Center for Ethics in Science and Technology (2004-2021). He has taught train-the-trainer, research ethics workshops throughout the world, and assisted in the creation of an Asia Pacific Research Integrity Network. His research focus is the goals, content, and methods for teaching research ethics.
